Porcelain Paving Installation in Ratoath
We install porcelain paving for patios, pathways and other outdoor areas in Ratoath. Porcelain delivers consistent colour, very low maintenance and a level of long term durability that standard slabbing struggles to match.
Porcelain paving suits most garden areas in Ratoath, including:
- Patios and seating areas – The non-porous surface resists staining from food, drink and furniture marks
- Pathways and walkways – It will not fade or discolour over time, so it keeps its appearance for years
- Pool and spa surrounds – R11 rated options give excellent slip resistance when wet
Porcelain requires different groundwork from natural stone. We install it on either a concrete base with adhesive fixing, or on a pedestal system for raised applications such as roof terraces. The concrete base method involves laying a 100mm reinforced slab, fixing the tiles with a flexible adhesive, and then grouting with specialist compounds so the porcelain bonds properly.
We always recommend a resin grout for porcelain. It is flexible, highly resistant to the weather, and can be coloured to contrast with the tiles.
For patios, we can also use a sand and cement bed installation similar to that used for natural stone, although the adhesive method offers better long term stability. A standard patio typically takes between 2 and 4 days to install from start to finish.
Alongside porcelain tiling, we offer other surfacing options for your patio, including paving, sandstone installations and limestone.
